Summer Savory

Satureja hortensis. More delicate in flavor than Winter Savory, this new variety imported from Germany features intensely aromatic leaves on compact plants. Savory was considered an aphrodisiac and is thought to have been named after the mythological Satyr: half man, half beast, preoccupied with Bacchanalian pleasures.
